Keep It Simple
One of the best ways of keeping your costs low is to use simple artwork because, by reducing the number of colours in your design you directly reduce the cost of printing it.
Another benefit of an image in just 1 or 2 colours is that it stands out clearly on fabric, which of course is what most people want their logo or product image to do.
Printing is generally considered to be cheaper than embroidery although this may not be the case with a small, uncomplicated design - it's worth asking as we don't charge for quotations.
Please check out our Promotional Clothing page for a few more tips to getting better value.

Buy More Items
It's not a rather obvious trick to make you buy more than you need, it's just a simple reflection of economies of scale. In the same way that eggs are cheaper by the dozen, t-shirts and other garments are cheaper by the carton.
It is also cheaper per unit to print a larger number of garments, mainly because it takes the same amount of time to set up a run of 50 as it does for a run of 10,000.
Finally, there are the fixed costs associated with the equipment or patterns needed to reproduce your design. These are simply divided by the total number of items being produced, again reducing the per unit price as the quantity goes up.
Please see our Pricing page for a few more suggestions.
