In this edition of Spotlight On, we showcase our latest energy saving upgrades exhibited at ECO FAIR 2015, focus on our double-award winning SmartCool™ computer room cooling range, meet Airedale's export ambassadors Mark and Asim, and Projects Manager Fiona Toseland shares with us her passion for all things AC.

Airedale exhibited at this year's ECO FAIR, the biggest environmental expo in the north of England. The show looked at ways to cut emissions and costs by adopting a range of environmental improvements.

We showcased our energy saving credentials with a range of retrofit solutions including an EC fan upgrade demo to deliver reduced power draw, increased responsiveness and efficiency. Applied correctly, EC fans can deliver up to a 70% reduction in energy consumption.

Further retrofit solutions demonstrated included the use of electronic expansion valves (EEVs) and optimised building energy management controls.

Ambassadors for export

Commercial director, Mark Viner and export sales manager, Asim Ansari have been appointed to Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership's 'We are International' network which gives free advice and mentoring to novice exporters, the network comprises more than 40 of Yorkshire's top exporting companies.
